Most of the couples we work with come to us with three things in common: some ideas for their elopement day, a lot of love between them, and an overwhelming number of decisions to make. Some of our favourite moments that we’ve captured include a couple who decided to take a helicopter ride to a mountain summit to shotgun a beer on their wedding day (which was a tradition they shared), and when we had the privilege of photographing a couple who hit some pow at Lake Louise Ski Resort on their Banff elopement (snowboarding was how they met).

You rent a charming cabin in the heart of Banff, and get ready in separate rooms. I’ll meet you there and set you both up for a heart-stopping first look on your porch overlooking a gorgeous alpine lake. It’s emotional and magical and you both take a moment to just soak in it all.

From there, we hop in the car and drive to one of the mountain passes. Then, a helicopter picks you up to enjoy mountain-top champagne and dessert to celebrate! While you two enjoy spending your wedding day afternoon on cloud nine, the adventures don’t stop there.

Once you land, you end the day in a sunset canoe over a turquoise lake. We bid you farewell and you spend the rest of the night reminiscing and feeling nostalgic about what an incredible wedding day you had.

Oh boy where do we even begin? After many rescheduled dates from our original wedding day, in the spur of the moment we decided to have our wedding in the mountains. We basically planned the wedding in about a week and it was crazy, but Dila was so reassuring and very helpful with us in making our decision. Dila was incredibly honest and literally had an answer to every question we had on how to have an intimate mountain wedding.

Every minute of our experience was so easy and enjoyable. Dila was very accommodating and attentive, we didnt have to worry about anything. Dila is also great at scheduling and she sticks to it with little to no deviation (she’s basically an event planner!). Not only was she great at accommodating us, but also with our friends and family. Everybody adored Dila as much as we did, it’s as if we’ve known each other for a long time.

We recommend Dila 💯 again and again. Do it, it’s a mistake if you don’t hire her because her work is AMAZING and you don’t know what you’ll be missing out on.

SHE IS THE BEST! To start, we are not from Alberta but wanted to get married/elope in Banff. Because we are not from the area we were a little nervous but she went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Her communication was top notch and we were able to video call, email (we would email weekly!), chat and meet her the day before the ceremony! She sent us a list of so many ideas of where to go the day of the wedding and even hiking trails for us to do before the big day! She was more than a photographer – she helped me find hair & makeup – she helped facilitate the whole day. She was basically my planner and photographer and maid of honor in one. It was just my fiance and I so she had to help me put my dress on and carry my shoes when we hiked. YOU GUYS!!! SHE IS SO GENUINE, KIND and FUNNY!!! The whole process made me feel like I was working with a good friend! Also, it’s important to note that my fiance (now husband) and I can be awkward when it comes to posing in photos – but with her it was never awkward because she knows what she is doing and made us feel totally natural! I cannot say enough great things – she 100% helped make our day perfect! Thank you so much Dila – definitely blessed and grateful we found you!
